Material Information
Here is some basic information about the materials that we use.
Bright Aluminum (BA)
Bright Aluminum is very light weight and decently hypoallergenic, containing very little nickel, and doesn’t tarnish.
Cleaning - Ultrasonic cleaner or hot soapy water like dishes. Polishing can damage coating
Anodized Aluminum (AA)
Very Similar to Bright Aluminum in that it is decently hypoallergenic, containing very little nickel, very lightweight, and doesn’t tarnish.

Stainless Steel (STL)
Stainless Steel is one of our favorites! We use 304 Stainless which is very strong, and will not tarnish, or rust. It does have a lower nickel content than other varieties but it is not considered Hypoallergenic as it contains 8% nickel. If metal allergies are a concern, alternatives can be made available in metals such as Silver/Gold/Titanium, and Niobium.

Brass (JB), Bronze (BZ), Copper (CU)
These metals are not hypoallergenic as they do contain nickel. These material will darken with age and can be shined up using a jewelers cloth. Depending on your skin chemistry these types of metal can turn green and turn skin green.
Cleaning - Ultrasonic cleaner or hot soapy water like dishes. Brasso; dry quick to prevent corrosion
Titanium (TI)
Titanium is perfectly hypoallergenic. Strong and light. Skin oils can fade color, soap and water will renew.

Rubber Rings (EPDM)
Latex free, with no color rub off.
